2021 AM and APM
Highclere Parish Council is required to hold an Annual Meeting and an Annual Parish Meeting every year. Whilst the meetings sound similar, there is a difference!
The Annual Meeting is held by the Council to cover the yearly requirement to elect a new Chairman, Vice Chairman and for individual councillors to confirm their roles.
The Annual Parish Meeting is held to invite members of the public to listen to the report from the council from the previous financial year.
Both meetings are usually held concurrently on the same night.
The most recent Annual Parish Meeting was held in 2019. In 2020 these meetings were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions.
The next Annual Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting will be held virtually on 04 May 2021, starting with the Annual Meeting at 6:30pm, followed by the Annual Parish Meeting at 7pm.
