Planning in Highclere
Highclere Parish Council plays an active part in all local planning issues. It is probably the area of the Council's role that is best known to the community and which can be of the most importance.
All planning applications are posted online by the Local Planning Authority, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council and can easily be searched for on that website by keyword, reference number, postcode or single line of an address.
Current planning applications for this parish can also be viewed by clicking the Planning Finder button below. The Planning Finder is a central facility provided to Parish Council websites, which is driven by postcode. If the application is submitted and processed without a postcode it will not appear on the planning tracker page.
You can access both services by clicking the buttons below
Highclere Parish Council has a Planning Working Party which considers all new applications (see Planning Protocol attachment below for details). Applications are placed on the Agenda and responses confirmed in the Minutes.
Any planning applications of key interest to the Parish will be highlighted on the News page of this website.
